CLUB20 Breakfast with Harold Mitchell AC
Often referred to as “the most powerful man in Melbourne”, Harold Mitchell is a classic rags-to-riches story. The son of a Stawell sawmiller, Mitchell came to Melbourne at 16 after failing to finish high school. He went on to become a billion dollar media-buyer and one of Australia’s most successful businessman.
He founded Mitchell & Partners, Australia’s largest communications group and has overseen many organisations, including – former Chairman of the National Gallery of Australia, Chairman of the Melbourne Rebels Rugby Club, Executive Chairman of Aegis Media Pacific, President of the Melbourne International Festival of Arts.
He is currently Chairman of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Vice Chairman of Tennis Australia and Board Member of the New York Philharmonic. Join us and listen to one of Australia’s greatest businessman – in one of Melbourne’s historic venues.
